Gun 85% finish overall, receiver having a mottled appearance. Significant finish wear on buttplate and trigger guard. Bolt has some original blue remaining. Gun is even with finish and wear patterns, consistent with age and light use. Stock has some minor dings and handling marks. Sharp 1884 dated cartouche on left side of stock by the buttplate. Bore is fine with sharp rifling and some very minor pitting. Fine mechanical function. All markings are clear. Original cleaning rod. The total production of these very scarce guns was 753.
