Harper's Ferry Arsenal second production type, altered to percussion when the arsenal's rifle production began to focus on the later 1841 Hall rifles. The rifle features a round rifled steel barrel with browned finish. Blued breech block stamped at front "J.H. HALL/H. FERRY/1832". Standard steel Model 1819 furniture and plain walnut stock. Very good condition, as refinished, with some wear at muzzle from bayonet and some wear and scattered marks overall. Mechanism is crisp and bore is excellent and shiny. A very nice Hall conversion rifle.
