Round smoothbore steel barrel with small sight mounted on tang and small brass front sight. Brass frame and percussion action, left side of frame features a French St. Etienne inscription. Walnut grip with checkered panels on both sides and steel backstrap and buttcap. Steel ramrod has been replaced and is short. Barrel retains a spotted grey patina with some minor freckling around bolster. Brass retains a mellow patina and shows some wear and scattered marks. Grip shows some wear and minor marks, some chipping around frame on right side. Action functions well. A very unusual and attractive French pistol.
