Gun (A) is a Long Branch No.4 MK.I* dated 1943. All matching numbers. This gun was issued to New Zealand and has the NZ mark on the left side of the butt as well as the standard NZ added numbers. Retains 90% finish overall with crisp clear markings. Wood is fine with some light handling marks and minor dings. Excellent bore is sharp. Fine mechanical function. Both original numbers and NZ numbers are all matching including the magazine. Does not appear to be import marked. This gun has a standard spike bayonet missing scabbard. Gun (B) is a BSA Shirley made gun marked M47C. Import marked on the left side of the receiver. Not dated as is common on the BSA guns. Brass buttplate. Retains 90% of a thick British black painted finish. Fine mechanical function. Matching numbers including the magazine. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Proper British military sling. Has a standard spike bayonet with scabbard and frog.
