Octagonal steel barrel with engraved designs on top three flats engraved with stars and designs, star over "T" proof on right side of breech. Double action frame and pinfire cylinder engraved with floral designs, punch-dot checkered panels, and borders. Features folding trigger and two-piece ivory grips. Complete with period black canvas-covered case with leather carrying handle and brass escutcheon on lid. Partitioned interior of red velour. Pistol is very good with generous traces of blue finish, especially in protected areas, remainder turned to brown with some scattered freckling. Mechanically string. Grips excellent with yellowed patina. Case very good with a few scattered marks on exterior and interior slightly faded with some wear and minor staining. A very nice cased and engraved pinfire.
