Gun (A) is a 1918 dated type 91 carbine with the original folding bayonet. Early style locking catch for bayonet consisting of a lever. Early style adjustable rear sight. Gun is import marked on the barrel. Matching arsenal applied serial numbers. Retains 85% of an arsenal applied finish. Stock has numerous dings and handling marks, serial number marking looks to have been removed a long time ago from the left side. Good mechanical function. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Gun (B) is a 1940 dated type 91 with the later style bayonet catch consisting of a push button. Block rear sight. Import marked on the barrel. Traces of finish. Stock is worn with dings and handling marks, as well as appears to have had several names carved into it during its period of use. Good mechanical function. Bore is very good with strong rifling.
