Gun (A) is a Loewe made model 1891 Argentine Mauser rifle. Matching numbers. Crest is intact on the receiver. Import marked on the bottom of the barrel. All Loewe made 1891 Argentines were produced prior to 1899. Proper cleaning rod with brass tip. Good mechanical function. All markings are clear. Stock has some dings and handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Retains 85% finish. Black leather sling. Accompanied by a proper Aluminum handled bayonet with matching scabbard. Gun (B) is a Czech VZ.24 made by BRNO. 33 date at the end of the proof. Crest on top of the receiver. Bolt has been renumbered, does not match. No numbers are matching. Appears to have been arsenal refinished at some point, retains 85% of that finish. Wood has numerous small dings and handling marks. Import marked on the barrel. Fine mechanical function. Bore is dirty with strong rifling. Accompanied by a proper bayonet and scabbard.
