Gun retains 80% finish overall. Mostly matching with the exception of the cocking knob. Gun was made by Remington under contract for Russia, and exhibits the markings of both. Dated 1917. Bolt looks to be Russian renumbered to match. Import marked barrel. Some very slight pitting here and there. Bore is dirty with strong rifling. Wood has some dings and handling marks, good Russian cartouche on the right side. Most parts appear to have a small R in a circle marking. Leather sling. Early style bayonet with locking ring has the same small R in a circle proof as found on the rifle.
