Gun (A) is a Terni type 38 carbine dated 1940. Import marked under barrel. Retains 80% finish. Stock is worn showing dings and handling marks. Fine mechanical function. Bore is good with worn rifling. Comes with a proper bayonet. Bayonet was originally a folding type that was arsenal modified to be fixed. Proper scabbard. German 98k Mauser bayonet frog on it. Gun (B) is a rather scarce WWII Japanese Naval training rifle. Has the naval anchor with chrysanthemum on the receiver. Retains a pleasing patina overall with some original finish. School markings in the right side of the butt. Stock is solid with small dings and handling marks, some minor chips. Front sight protective ears are bent inwards. Dust cover appears to have been on this gun for a long time. A training rifle bayonet accompanies this item, however it does not appear to be the correct Naval Training bayonet for this gun as it does quite fit.
