Blued octagonal barrel with multigroove rifling and standard sights, top flat inscribed "Mson Lefaucheux Henry Rieger rue Vivienne 37 - Paris". Left side of breech with Liege proofs. Flobert action with polished hammer and casehardened action hang. Steel target triggerguard with monogram "GA" and gripcap are casehardened. Circassian walnut half stock with relief panels on both sides of action and checked panels on each side of grip. Complete with original wooden case with brass keyhole escutcheon and carrying handle, Green felt-lined French fitted interior with gilt lettered lid marked "Mson LEFAUCHEUX/HENRY RIEGER SR./37 RUE VIVIENNE/PARIS". Interior features two lidded compartments, a case key, brass cleaning rod, oiler(missing lid), and rosewood handled screwdriver. Excellent condition, barrel retains about 98% original blue finish with some light wear at muzzle. Action tang retains almost all of bright case coloring, triggerguard with 50% case colors, otherwise turned to silver, buttcap with 80% freckled case colors. Fine strong action and excellent shiny bore. Stock excellent with a couple minor storage marks. Case lid with some scratches and losses to finish, interior very good with some minor fading and light wear. A very nice and quality made Flobert!
