Gun (A) is a Mexican La Coruna 1953 Mauser rifle. Retains 90% finish overall, appears to have been arsenal refinished as the markings are a little weak. Wood is very crisp with some light handling marks and some deeper scratches/dings on the right side of the wrist. Excellent bore. Excellent mechanical function. Does not appear to be import marked. Leather sling. Has a generic export model German made bayonet with it which fits the gun loosely. Gun (B) is a Swedish model M38 dated 1900. The gun was originally an 1896 model that was overhauled by a Swedish arsenal to the M38 configuration. Has a proper flash hider on the muzzle. Matching numbers. Import marked, with importers tag attached to trigger guard. Wood is very good with a crack on either side of the stock where the lower buttplate screw may have been over tightened. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Leather sling is fine. Comes with a standard 1896 model bayonet with scabbard.
