Retains 90% original finish overall. Mum has been ground. All numbers on the gun are matching, including both the serial and assembly numbers. The dust cover does not match. Stock is fine with some handling marks and dings. There is a piece missing from the left side at the top of the finger groove in the forend. Good inspectors marks on the bottom of the stock. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Proper cleaning rod. Reproduction leather sling. This gun is accompanied by an equally hard to find Mukden bayonet with good markings. Wood grips are fine with light handling marks. Blade does not appear to have been sharpened. Some light staining on the blade with a minor chip at the tip along the edge. Scabbard has some light surface rust but is in good condition.
