Gun (A) is a Steyr made model 1912 Chilean contract Mauser rifle. Matching numbers with the exception of the floorplate. Nice clear 1912 dated cartouche in right side of the stock. Import marked. Crest on top of receiver is intact. This gun was arsenal converted to .308 in 1961. Good mechanical function. Wood has dings and handling marks. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Comes with a Chilean marked bayonet missing the scabbard that does not quite go on the gun. Gun (B) is a DWM made 1895 model Chilean Mauser. Import marked under barrel. Numbers are not matching. Retains a pleasing patina overall showing wear with some traces of finish. Markings are clear. Good mechanical function. Stock is worn with numerous dings and abrasions. Bore is good with strong rifling. Leather sling. Accompanied by a Chilean marked, German made bayonet in the matching scabbard. Bayonet & scabbard are in better condition than the gun.
