Gun (A) is a 1904 Portuguese contract rifle made by DWM. Retains a pleasing patina with some traces of finish. All markings are clear. Good mechanical function. Import marked on the barrel. Matching numbers with the exception of the rear band. Also has a spare rear band with it. Stock is solid with some handling marks and dings. Has a Guinard Paris marked bayonet on it with scabbard. Canvas sling. Gun (B) is a Spanish model 1916 short rifle. Clear Fascist marks on the top of the receiver. Retains 80% finish overall. Matching numbers on bolt, floorplate, triggerguard, and receiver. Good mechanical function. Wood is very good with dings and handling marks. Import marked on barrel. This gun was converted from the original 7x57 caliber to a reduced .308 cartridge for development of the CETME rifle. Leather sling. Accompanied by a wood handled Spanish Mauser bayonet with leather scabbard. Leather has shrunk a little with age.
