Manufactured for the German military in World War One by Amberg. 1917 barrel date. Most of the numbers match with the bottom metal being mismatched. Features include; round blue barrel with adjustable ramp front sight and twenty position rear sight. Blue right hand bolt action with turned down bolt. Laminated full military stock. Stock has been repaired. Shows normal handling marks. Good bore with good lands and groves. Not import marked. At the rear of the barrel is has a deaths head and SS marks. They have been stamped in the barrel much later than all the other stampings on the receiver. Gun retains approximately 80% of the aftermarket applied finish.
