Action and barrel were manufactured in 1942. It has been rebuilt and converted to a .308 Nato round. Trigger group is numberedD28280-12-SA, op-rod is numbered D35382 SA bolt is 6528287-SA. Un-cartouche walnut stock. It also has a later rear sight. Gun retains approximately 90% of the arsenal re-finish. Wood shows a few handling and storage marks. Fair bore with good lands and grooves. Muzzle measures a 2. Comes in a minty leather saddle scabbard with brass fittings and a tan web sling. CORRECTION: From the collection of Kent V. Bissel.
