Standard World War Two military issued battle rifle. Receiver was produced in June of 1944. Barrel is also a Springfield dated June of 1944. No doubt the original barrel. No import marks. Trigger group is marked D28290-12-SA. Bolt is markedD28287-129A. Correct lock-bar rear adjustable sight. Chamber gauges 3 muzzle gauge is 2. Full walnut stock shows moderate use. Dings and handling marks on stock. Crutched on left side "RIA FK" and a Circle P on the pistol grip. Comes with a green web sling. CORRECTION: From the collection of Kent V. Bissel.
