Standard inland markings but void of any serial numbers. This unusual carbine has most of the features of a type 1 carbine with the exception of the "I"- cut stock. Early s marked flip sight, checkered push button safety, serrated unmarked magazine release two rivet hand guard type 1 band. All internal parts are Inland. The stock has a circle "P" on grip and Ordnance wheel inspection but no other cartouche. A really unique M1 Carbine with an early type 2 pattern Inland receiver with no serial number.
