Manufactured 1943. Standard Remington World War II issue pistol with military matte finish. Right side of frame has Ordnance wheel stamp. Left side of slide stamped "REMINGTON RAND INC.". Left side of frame has the "FJA" Frank Atwood stamp. Sports short checkered trigger, brown Keyes-type grips, checkered hammer, checkered safety, serrated slide stop, serrated arched mainspring housing with loop, blued High Standard marked barrel with excellent bore. 98% original finish with light high edge wear only. Comes with February 16th, 1944 dated shipping ticket from Newport News Quartermaster, listing gun by serial number. Overall a high condition Remington Rand mid-war U.S. pistol with shipping ledger.
