Gun retains 90% finish overall. All markings are clear. Good "S.A./G.A.W." cartouche on left side of stock showing wear. 6-44 dated barrel, May of 1944 production date of receiver based off serial number. Not import marked. Consignor notes state that this gun is all correct and a "Wamsher" gun. Fine mechanical function. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Stock is very good with some minor handling marks, showing wear. Proper sling. This gun is accompanied by a Miltech pine wood box for an M1 Carbine. This gun is NOT a Miltech gun. Box is good for transport or storage. CORRECTION: From the collection of Kent V.
