Offered is a high condition factory blue Colt 1911 Commercial that features all early parts including short checkered wide spur hammer, checkered slide stop and safety, long smooth trigger, flat mainspring housing with lanyard, diamond checkered walnut grips, slide with pony at left rear, beveled edge rear sight, small front sight, blued barrel with "J" on left lug, and polished blue base lanyard ring magazine. Frame retains 95% original factory blue. Mainspring housing is a blue-brown patina. Slide has light muzzle wear and high edge wear. Slide is not numbered and has a few scattered storage marks and freckles. Front grip strap retains 95% original factory blue. Near mint bore. Overall a nice, high condition early commercial.
