Standard issue mid-war with all standard features including: slide stamped "REMINGTON RAND", left side of frame has the "FJA" Frank Atwood inspector stamp, "P" at magazine release, light Ordnance wheel on left side with "UNITED STATES PROPRTY M1911A1 US ARMY", brown composite Keyes grips, checkered arched mainspring housing with loop, short checkered trigger, serrated slide stop, checkered safety and spurless checkered hammer. Top of slide has a "P". Blued barrel is stamped "SP" on left lug for Springfield Armory. Has a blued pinned base magazine. Slide retains 90% of its arsenal applied military finish with overall high edge wear and razor sharp stamps. The front grip strap is worn clean, as is grip safety. Balance of frame exhibits wear on all edges. Fine bore and action.
