Manufactured 1943. Standard Remington World War II issue pistol with military matte finish. Right side of frame has Ordnance wheel stamp. Left side of slide stamped "REMINGTON RAND INC.". Left side of frame has the "FJA" Frank Atwood stamp. Sports short checkered trigger, brown Keyes star stamped composite grips, checkered hammer, checkered safety, serrated slide stop, serrated arched mainspring housing with loop, blued magazine and matte barrel with "P" and excellent bore. Pistol retains nearly all of the military applied matte finish with a two tone slide (not numbered). Nearly unused World War II Remington Rand pistol.
