Approximately 6,000 were manufactured 1872 to 1888. The left grip has the cartouche "CRS" for Curtis R. Stickney who worked as an inspector of contract arms in the 1870's. This is a single shot falling block. All metal is a grey patina with sharp markings. Walnut one piece grip with forend. This is a smoothbore with no rifling. Action works fine.
