D'Armes De Bayonne was founded in 1921, they were used by the German military and police during the Vichy Period (1940-1944) and commercial production resumed at the end of the war. Gun A: The Model C dates to 1933. 90% original factory blue finish, black composite grips. Left grip is warped and cracked, both straps is blue with age freckling, very good bore and action. Gun B: It was introduced in 1933 as well. Has about 85% of the original war era parkerized finish, fine bore and action, very good grips. Gun C: Has about 90% of the original blue finish, fine bore and action, very good grips. Gun D: This was accepted by the French army in the 1970's. Gun is blued with black composite grips, 90% blue with a hint of freckling at the back right side. All four of these semi-automatic pistols are good serviceable guns.
