Manufactured 1949-1950. The post-war Heavy Duty was reintroduced after the war in June of 1946. It is a hefty revolver built on the square butt N frame with five screws. The short-draw hammer was introduced in 1948 and this revolver is not so-equipped. Gun features fixed sights, blued finish, six shot, double action, silver medallion walnut diamond checkered Magna grips numbered to the gun on right panel, and case colored hammer and trigger. Matching numbers on barrel, cylinder and extractor. Revolver shows light drag line, some light high edge muzzle and cylinder wear and a bit of freckling to top strap. Mechanics are in as new condition. Bright case colors on both hammer and trigger. Overall 97%.
