Barrel is stamped "E 11-18". This is an all original matching Eddystone 1917 rifle that was built for presentation using extra grade highly finish walnut stock, fine dark blued finish which 90% plus remains. All small parts are stamped "E" for Eddystone, as is stock. This deluxe Eddystone has a brass plaque on right side of stock that reads "TO R.D. KETTENRING COMPLIMENTS OF J.L. TATE". This is the first of this type we have seen. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
