Manufactured in 1900. Features include; octagonal barrel with factory front and rear adjustable sights, and Lyman tang peep sight. Blue falling block lever action. Case color lever, bolt, hammer, trigger and butt plate. Walnut stocks with ebony tip and steel crescent butt plate. Gun retains approximately 95% of the factory applied blue finish with just a few storage marks. Case color remains at 70%. Stocks are proud to metal and show just a bit of handling marks. Bright shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. A very high condition gun. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection. CORRECTION: Factory Letter states serial No. 88340 shipped December 9th, 1901 as a 26" No. 1 octagon barrel with plain trigger in caliber .25 rimfire.
