Approximately 2,020 were manufactured between 1891 and 1896, although production basically stopped in 1894 as only one was manufactured after that point. Features blued finish, six shot, single action with Remington logo composite grips. This rare revolver was masterfully restored with the finest job of polishing and royal blue finish we have seen. Barrel legend is sharp. Finish is untouched, 100% since restoration. The hammer and loading gate are brilliantly case colored in Colt fashion. Grips are excellent and have toned to a brownish color. Strong, clean bore and indexes like a brand new revolver. If there was ever a case to be made for properly and historically correct restored firearms, this revolver exemplifies the true meaning of an expert restoration. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
