Very pretty doll, 27" tall, with bisque head incised in aback "B 12 L". Specifically made by the Jumeau Firm for the Louvre department store in Paris. Although resembling a Tete Jumeau, she has a slightly more narrow face, giving her a distinctive look, and comes with a unmarked body. She has bulbous blue-gray paperweight eyes, a closed mouth with a slight space between the lips, and it on the original, fully jointed wood and composition French body. Some repaint on the lower arms and hands. Wonderfully re-costumed in a pale green silk brocade and braid trim dress, antique black canvas shoes, a newer brown human hair wig over cork pate, covered by a nicely made bonnet, whose fabric matches the main costume.
