Pretty 25" French Bebe, with head stamped in red "Depose Tete Jumeau BTE SGDG 12". She has very smooth and well painted bisque with tiny eyelashes, evenly arched brows, closed mouth with white space between the lips, blue paperweight eyes, and is on a french wood and composition body, stamped in blue on the torso "Jumeau Medaille D'Or Paris". Body finish is mostly original, with slight natural wear to paint finish here and there, especially at the joints. She wears an antique brown human hair wig over cork pate, a pale pink pleated cotton dress with lace, and a well matched white bonnet, antique black leather shoes, antique underwear and socks. Although both head and body of Jumeau manufacture, head appears slightly larger than normal to find on this length of body.
