Sweet doll with heart-shaped face, incised in back in a scroll "F.G. 8". She has a closed mouth and bee-stung upper lip, pale hazel glass eyes, finely painted lashes, and thick, evenly arch multi-stroke eyebrows, pierces earlobes, and on the original French wood and composition body with straight wrists. Re-costumed, most likely by the previous owner, in a dark brown one piece dress with silk ribbon and braid trim and ornate lace. The underwear and shoes are all antique, and the wig a nice replacement made out of hone colored human hair over cork pate, topped with a perfectly matching bonnet. This 20" bebe is in very good condition, with original patina to body, and slight paint touch-up here and there, especially on hands.
