The Bisley Model was basically a Single Action Army with a larger trigger guard, a different configuration of grip straps and a low, wide checkered hammer. This model features blued finish with case colors and black composite grips. Remains in excellent all original condition. Barrel retains approximately 85% of the Colt high polish royal blue finish with some light patina freckling and muzzle wear. Ejector rod housing is basically patina with blue in recess. 60% blue on cylinder with typical serrations marks and patina showing through. Frame retains approximately 75% colors on right side, some bright, and 20% colors on left, balance patterned out. Hammer has generous amounts of case colors. Grips are near mint. Straps are a mix of blue-brown patina. Screws retain generous amounts of their Nitre blue finish. Near mint grips. Fine bore and action. Extremely nice Bisley, far above average. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
