Features six shot, double action, blued finish and Colt logo black composite bird's head grips and lanyard ring. This revolver has seen use but was well-cared for. Screws have the majority of the fire Nitre blue intact, as does trigger and back of hammer. Grips are excellent. Gun shows high edge holster wear on top of frame, muzzle, cylinder, and grips straps are a grey patina. Still retains 80% of its original factory blue. Indexes and locks up like new. Fine, clean bore. Nice example of an antique .44-40. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
