Information on this model is rather scarce. These were made starting in 1897 until about 1900 for both civilian and military contracts. This gun does not appear to have any military proofs on it, although at the time many British officers were required to purchase their own side arms. This gun retains 60% of a thinning military style finish with clear markings. Fine mechanical function. Original hard rubber grips have some dings and handling marks. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Not import marked. Matching numbers.
