Manufactured 1865-73. Features octagon barrel, five shot, single action, blued finish, nickel plated trigger guard, fire blued trigger, case colored hammer and two piece varnished walnut grips. Barrel retains approximately 80% of the original high polish factory blue with razor sharp legends. Frame has splashes of original blue, balance simply flaked to patina. Cylinder has 80% factory blue. 98% plating on trigger guard. Traces of fire blue on trigger. Traces of color on hammer. Grips are near mint with the majority of the original varnish. Indexes and locks up like new. Fine, strong bore. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
