Gun (A) is a Colt Army Special manufactured 1923. Features six shot, double action, blued finish, fixed sights and stylized "C" Colt checkered black composite grips. This revolver has a hint of muzzle wear, a light drag line, and some high edge wear on cylinder. Cylinder retains 90% blue. Balance of gun retains 95% or better original blue. Grips are near mint. Fine bore and near mint action. Gun (B) is a Colt Commando. Approximately 50,617 Commando Models were manufactured 1942-43. This was a military model as evidenced by Ordnance bomb on left side of frame. Features six shot, double action, fixed sights, Army matte parkerized finish with brown composite Colt logo grips. This revolver has a hint of high edge wear here and there but appears in as new condition inside and out with 98% or better original factory finish. Mint bore. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
