The slightly large of the two, 11 - 1/2", in the pale pick dress is a bisque socket head, incised "136", with blue glass stationary eyes, a closed painted mouth, mounted to a bisque shoulder plate with is in turn mounted to an all kid body with gusset jointes at the hips, knees and elbows, with bisque forearms. She has a nicely made pick and white dress with lace trim, antique paper shoes, old socks, and an antique dark blond mohair wig over cardboard pate. The second doll, 11", is incised only "3" in back of the head, and has blue gray eyes, a closed mouth with outline shaded upper lip, on an all-articulated French wood and composition body, stamped on the torso "Jemeau Medaille D'or Paris". Patinas are original, and possible hand replacements of German hands in perfect proportion and patina to the rest of body. She has a beautiful two piece silk French striped dress with silk braid ribbon trim and lace undergarment, and new brown leather shoes, and a honey colored human hair wig. Although it appears at first to be a chip at the back of the edge of the opening on the head, it is actually a firing imperfection, where a bubble burst in the making.

Item Dimensions: Taller is 11 -1/2".
