Standard two line address and 3/4 magazine. Forearm cap is blued. Receiver is blued with initials on left side of "GEL". Right side of receiver also blued with a dark Nitre blue loading gate. Hammer is case colored, lever is case colored and trigger is blued. Comes with a deluxe grade American walnut, pistol grip is capped. Buttplate is blued. Receiver and barrel are "PW" proof marked. "H" style checkering. A fine deluxe Model 1892 in late production that would be hard to improve upon. All original and bright piano finish on stock. All numbers match. Round barrel retains 98% blue, magazine tube also with 98% blue. Forearm cap with one small spot that has turned patina on right side balance of blue remaining is 85-90%. Left side of receiver has solid 98% blue with right side a 96% with a very small imperfection on receiver in front of loading gate. Takedown collar is 85-90% blue. Hammer retains 96-97% case colors with no drag line. Lever has bright case colors on both left and right flats and on surrounding lower portion of lever. An outstanding lever that would rate 99% case color overall. Deluxe grade wood has few scratches with very few impressions on left side and a few impressions on right side as well. Light scratches on high part of stock. No evidence of chips or wood missing or cracks around tang. Forearm with two good sized dings on bottom next to take down collar. Minor dings from there with light scratches throughout. No bruising of checkering on stock or forearm. Mechanics are fine, cycles properly. Bore is bright and shiny. This gun would rate extremely fine. Factory research yields no information. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
