Left side of frame bears the last patent dated of April 17th, 1866. Barrel is not stamped. The round barrel has no markings of any kind. Has what appears to be a welded-on aftermarket front sight. Left side of frame is stamped with "PS" inspector stamps. Barrel retains approximately 75% blue. Frame, trigger guard and grip strap retain approximately 80% original case colors, some bright. Stocks are excellent. Left side of stamp has the inspector stamped "CRS" in rectangle for Curtis R. Stikney. The screws and trigger retain generous amounts of Nitre blue. Grips are excellent with no cracks. Near mint bore and fine action. A high condition and very robust single shot pistol. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
