Due to the seamling hard use Model 1892 carbines are rarely found with a high percentage of original factory finish, this is an exception. Overall the blued metal surfaces on this carbine retain approximately 90% original finish with the exception of the buttplate, which is basically patina. Walnut stocks are excellent and proud to metal. It appears to have factory sling eyes. Tang sight is present. Standard features include: full round barrel, full magazine, post front sight, sporting rifle type rear sight, twin barrel bands, blue finish, walnut stocks, with saddle ring and stud. With regards to finish there is the usual saddle ring circles on left side of frame. Strong shiny bore with excellent to near mint stocks. From the G. Thomas Puett Collection.
