Manufactured 1910. One of the harder to find English semi-automatic large caliber pistols, this example was recorded October 11th, 1910; one of 1,694 manufactured between 1910 and 1914. Features blued finish with black composite grips. Stamped on left side "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD / LONDON & BIRMINGHAM / 9MM AUTOMATIC PISTOL". Manufactured with grip safety, round knurled hammer and lanyard ring. Numerous English proof marks. Retains approximately 10% factory bright blue with balance smooth patina. Barrel at chamber retains most of the fire blue. Grips are excellent except for a small chip at left bottom rear. Fine bore and action. These handguns were popular with British officers as purchased in the Army-Navy store during the first World War.
