Back in a time when a Krag rifle was worth $3, someone took this fine specimen with generous amounts of original finish and removed the rear sight, moved the original front sigh back, drilled a hole in the frame, installed cheap peep sight, and added customized wood stock with cheek piece and an old waffle shotgun pad. Gun (B) is the money gun. It is a near mint Model 1909 Argentine Mauser with matching numbers on frame, bolt, stock, trigger guard. Right side of stock has the Argentine crest cartouche. 95% original factory blue finish. Near new inside and out. Appears to have never been issued; beautiful, early Mauser.
