Mostly original, 14" closed mouth doll, with French-like features, incised "6" on back of head. Like most Beltons, she has a solid dome with flattened top, two holes for stringing, blue glass fixed eyes, closed mouth with white space between the lips, well painted lashes and multi-stroke eyebrows. She has pierced earlobes, with tiny one bead, jewel-like inserted earrings. The body is original and typical Sonneberg-type with straight wrists, and joints at elbows, shoulders, hips, and knees. Patina is original, and in lovely condition. Her clothes also appear to be original, though slightly faded in front. Her wig in antique dark blond mohair with side part, full and in good condition. Underwear and socks are also old; the only item which may not be as old is the shoes which are nice white leather with cardboard soles.
Item Dimensions: 14" T.
