14 - 1/2" doll, with bisque socket head stamped in red on back "Depose Tete Jumeau 5". Doll has an evenly painted bisque head, closed mouth, with slight space between the lips, very large eye cuts with brown glass eyes and well painted brows and lashes, pierced earlobes, and wearing the original blond mohair wig over cork pate with a silk bonnet with silk ribbon bow in front. Head is attached to the fully articulated body with original paint, has slight flaking on hands, and stamped in blue on back torso "Bebe Jumeau Paris". He underwear is obviously all original, as are the pale brown knit socks and white leather shoes, impressed on the soles "5 Paris Depose" with the bee logo. The silk and lace dress is certainly old, if not original, and although very attractive, it has understandably melted a bit with age.
