Exceptionally lovely French child, with red stamp in back of head reading "Depose Tete Jumeau 9" with bulbous blue paperweight eyes, well-painted closed mouth, eyebrows, and eyelashes, pierced earlobes, on the original fully jointed French wood and composition body, with mama and papa pull strings activating a voice box inside, with mostly original paint on the body, other than some repaint on the forearms and hands. Attractively dressed in a brilliant blue dress with braid trim, nice but new leather shoes, and an antique brown human hair wig over cork pate, and beautiful hat with seamstress signature inside. She does have a hairline on the forehead, and some possible restoration on the lower forehead, as there seems to be a slight bulge above the eyebrows with some extra shininess, and with the plaster inside the area there to hold the eyes in place, there is a possibility that it may cover some other damage. Nevertheless, this is a very pretty doll, and the area in question is not viable with wig and hat in place
