Manufactured for the German military by Mauser. This is a 1937 chamber date code S/42. Tis is the second variation with all blue parts. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "S/42", correct "(eagle) 63" Waffenamts on right side of receiver. All matching numbers gun. Field replacement magazine with un-numbered aluminum bottom. Gun retains approximately 98% of original applied factory blue finish. Fair bore showing some frosting with sharp lands and grooves. Checkered wood grips. A really hi-condition world war two luger.
