Built in Argentina under Colt license, they are for all intents and purposes a clone of the Colt Model 1911A1. Gun (A) is an extremely scarce factory built .22 with all matching numbers on frame and slide. Slide is stamped ".22 LR". Imported from GAI. Features blue-black finish and Keyes-style grips. Has all pre-war style checkered small parts and checkered arched mainspring housing with loop. Retains approximately 95% of the reapplied finish. Gun (B) is a 1911A1 U.S. Army type with matte World War II type finish retaining approximately 85% of that finish. Features adjustable lightweight trigger and faux pearl grips. Barrel stamped "COLT MK IV SERIES 70". Frame is No. 20038 and does not match slide. "BRAZIL" stamped on left side of frame and Brazilian logo on right.
