Shepard Hardware Co. Patented 7/31/1888. Coin is placed in the dog’s mouth. When the thumb piece is pressed upon, the dog jumps through the hoop held by the clown and deposits the coin in the top of the barrel. Trap door in the barrel prevents coin from being shaken out.
