Manufactured 1874 to 1886. This particular example was made in 1878, stamped on right barrel. Features six shot, fluted cylinder, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, lanyard ring, and straw colors on hammer, extractor, cylinder pin, loading gate and trigger. Retains 98% of the arsenal blue finish with beautiful straw colors. Fine bore and action. While the Model 1873 Navy is extremely common, the Model 1874 is rarely seen, especially in this condition.
